Police solves burglary case within 48 hours in Baramulla

02 accused persons arrested; stolen property recovered
February 11: “`Police in Baramulla have solved a burglary case within 48 hours by arresting two accused persons involved in the commission of crime besides, recovered stolen property on their disclosure.
A complaint was received by Police Station Pattan from one person namely Nusrat Mehmood resident of Newran Chuker Pattan stating therein that during the intervening night of 2nd & 3rd February 2023, some unknown burglars barged into his house and stole household items including Invertor, Battery etc.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR Number 37/2023 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Pattan and investigation was initiated.
During the course of investigation, taking aid of technical and human resources, the investigating team zeroed in on two suspects identified as Fayaz Ahmad Rather son of Ali Mohd Rather & Aadil Ahmad Reshi son of Ghulam Mohd Reshi, both residents of Palpora Pattan. During questioning the duo confessed their involvement in the commission of crime and on their disclosure stolen property was recovered.
Accordingly, the duo accused persons were arrested and shifted to police station where they remain in custody.
