Members of Yamuna Parliament Deserve Appreciation for Public Awareness Campaign for Yamuna Cleaning – Virendra Sachdeva

New Delhi, June 4: Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva attended the Yamunotsav 2025 – An Evening Dedicated to the Yamuna event held this evening at Kamani Auditorium.

On this occasion, Shri Virendra Sachdeva highlighted the efforts being made by the newly elected Delhi government led by the BJP towards cleaning the Yamuna River.

He also praised and extended his gratitude to the members of the Yamuna Parliament, especially senior journalist Shri Ravi Shankar Tiwari, for initiating a public awareness campaign for Yamuna cleaning in the symbolic role of a Yamuna beggar.

Shri Sachdeva stated that while the government is implementing a time-bound plan to clean the Yamuna and improve water storage, the contribution of social organizations will be crucial in maintaining the cleanliness of the developing riverbanks. He appealed to the many distinguished members of society present at the event to support this cause.

The event, jointly organized by the Yamuna Parliament and the Delhi Government, was also attended by MLA Shri Rajkumar Bhatia, renowned social workers Shri Jagmohan Gotewale and Shri Pradeep Gupta, among others.
