NEW DELHI, September 6: The Congress today said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was feeling panicked after the formation of the Indian National Democratic Inclusive Alliance (INDIA).

Addressing a press conference at the AICC headquarters here today, the Congress general secretary in-charge communications, Jairam Ramesh said, all the actions of the Prime Minister show that he is “fatigued and panicked”.

Jairam Ramesh pointed out, after the formation of the INDIA, Prime Minister’s actions like reviving the ‘dead NDA’ while the Bengaluru session of the INDIA was on and then a unilateral decision to call a special session while the Mumbai session was on, were all symbols of a panic stricken administration.

“After nine years it is maximum fatigue and maximum panic and that is what the Prime Minister’s approach is”, he remarked.

Mr Ramesh reiterated that the opposition parties were willing to participate in the special session of the parliament. He said the nine issues raised by Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Ms Sonia Gandhi in her letter to the Prime Minister were concerning the people of the country.

On the reports of changing the name of the country from India to Bharat, Mr Ramesh pointed out, it was the very first Article of the Constitution of India which says, “India that is Bharat”. He said, there was no need for discussion on it.
