“Must tender a public apology for derogatory remarks on PM’s foreign visit”

Chandigarh/Delhi, July 11:

BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today took strong exception to the derogatory remarks made by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann regarding Prime minister Narendra Modi’s foreign visit and demanded an immediate apology for his anti-national remarks.

Chugh said at a time when Modi was getting international recognition and was creating a new image of India on foreign lands, the Punjab Chief Minister, whose vision does not go beyond serving the interest of Arvind Kejriwal, is bringing shame to the nation.

Chugh said Bhagwant Mann might not even have heard names of the countries where the Prime Minister was being honoured but his power intoxicated language has been a big insult for the country for which the Chief Minister must apologise to the nation.

He said under the AAP rule Punjab has already become a stronghold of various mafias and gangsters and it is time the Chief Minister paid attention to that instead of making inebriated comments on the Prime Minister’s foreign visit the Chief Minister focussed on bringing some hope for the people of Punjab where every other day murders are taking place and gangsters are having a free play.
