Delhi Division of Northern Railway achieves significant achievements in Parcel booking during the Financial Year ( FY) 2025-26.

During the FY 2025-26, Division has earned Parcel revenue amounting to Rs.469.83 Cr. which is 2.70% higher than the last FY same corresponding period i.e. Rs.457.46 Cr.
Parcel revenue of Delhi Div.  of Rs.469.83 Crore during 2025-26, highest in Indian Railways, only Central Railway Zone has Rs. 252.52 Cr.
 Ratio of Delhi Div. Parcel Revenue of Rs. 469.83 Cr. during FY 2025-26 is 21.26% of Indian Railways i.e. Rs.2210.33 Cr. and 78.46% of Northern Railways i.e. Rs. 598.79 Cr. (Upto Feb. 2026). Delhi Division has allotted highest ever leased 195 SLRs during March 2026.
Delhi Division has successfully awarded 03 contracts of parcel scanners at New Delhi, Anand Vihar Terminal and Delhi Jn. parcel offices for a period of five years. During FY 2025-26, Delhi Division has successfully awarded 03 contracts of Management and Operation of Cloak Room Services (On Operate, Maintain and Transfer Basis) at New Delhi Railway station (separate contracts for Paharganj and Ajmeri Gate side keeping in view of RLDA work) and Anand Vihar Terminal Railway Station with contractual value of Rs. 6.32 Cr. During FY 2025-26, Delhi Division has successfully awarded 03 contracts of Truck/Tempo/Cargo Vehicles Parking cum management and Stacking of Parcels at New Delhi Railway Station (NE-1 towards Ajmeri Gate Side), Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway station (VP Siding) and Delhi Junction with contractual value of Rs. 8.95 Cr.

In first of its kind, Delhi division has introduced the use of self-locking seal tags for one time locking and sealing of SLRs and VPs to stop the use of wax seal. Delhi Division has done successful trial of dedicated box for Electrical items in train no. 12230 Ex. New Delhi to LJN on 11.03.2026. These boxes will protect them from impact, crushing, and vibration during transport. This helps in easier loading and unloading for electrical items. Electrical items can easily be sorted. Delhi Division has allotted 195 SLRs in March 2026, which is highest ever leasing of SLRs in a month.

New Service of JPP-RCS (Joint Parcel product). Division has successfully introduced a new JPP-RCS service from Adarsh Nagar to BDGM (Budgam, J&K) train no. 00461 started on 13.09.2025 and till March 2026 division has earned revenue of Rs. 1.34 Crore.

To enhance transparency Delhi Division is focusing on 100% Digital Payment and on its way to achieve the same during the month of March 2026, 96% of parcel payment is accepted through Online mode.
The Division has notified the Palwal Goods Shed as parcel location to better serve an expanded customer base. One Demand PCET has already been loaded and generated revenue of Rs. 18 lakhs.
