CM Vishnu Deo Sai to Address Leaders from Steel and Tourism Sectors
Chhattisgarh ‘Investor Connect’ in New Delhi on November 25 at Hotel The Lalit —
The Chhattisgarh Government is organizing a high-profile investor conference, ‘Chhattisgarh Investor Connect’, on November 25 at Hotel The Lalit, New Delhi. The event will see participation from leading industrialists, major companies from the steel and tourism sectors, and top corporate representatives. The state aims to showcase new industrial opportunities and incentives under its revamped investment framework.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will hold direct interactions with investors during the programme, highlighting new avenues for industrial establishment, a stable policy environment, and the rapidly developing industrial infrastructure of the state. During the event, the Chief Minister will present ‘Invitation to Invest Letters’ to major industry groups. These letters will detail the provisions of Chhattisgarh’s new Industrial Policy, incentives for investors, single-window facilitation, and a range of industry-friendly reforms undertaken by the government.
The state government has also taken significant steps to promote tourism as a major pillar of development. Under the new Industrial Policy, tourism has been granted the status of an industry, paving the way for greater investment, employment generation, and community participation. As a result, investors from both the steel and tourism sectors will benefit from new opportunities and improved facilities in the state.
A key focus of the government is Bastar, where improving security conditions have opened new doors for tourism-led growth. CM Vishnu Deo Sai has stated that, under the leadership of the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister, the state has set a target to make Bastar Naxal-free by 26 March 2026. With security being restored, the region is being developed as a major tourism destination through initiatives such as the home-stay model, natural tourism circuits, tribal culture-based routes, and skill-training programmes for local youth.
On the day of the event, November 25, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will address the media at 11:30 AM at Hotel The Lalit. During the press briefing, he will outline policy reforms for the steel and tourism sectors, new strategies for development and security in Bastar, and provide updates on proposed investment projects in Chhattisgarh.
