New Delhi, 4 February : Thousands of BJP workers led by Delhi BJP Working President Shri Virendra Sachdeva & LOP Shri Ramvir Singh Bidhuri today held a massive demonstration near Aam Aadmi Party HQ demanding resignation of CM Arvind Kejriwal whose name has appeared in E.D. chargesheet related to liquor scam. Thousands of BJP office bearers and workers later courted arrest from where the police took them to the police station IP State.

Apart from Shri. Virendra Sachdeva and Shri. Ramveer Singh Bidhuri, demonstration coordinator and Delhi BJP General Secretary Mr. Kuljit Singh Chahal several Delhi BJP officebearers including Ashok Goel Devraha, Mrs. Barkha Singh, Rajan Tiwari, Jaiveer Rana, Impreet Singh Bakshi, Praveen Shankar Kapoor , Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga, Mrs. Yogita Singh, Kaushal Mishra, Santosh Pal, Bhupendra Gothwal, Brijesh Rai, Ajay Sehrawat, Khemchand Sharma, Hukum Singh, Rajiv Kohli, District President Mrs. Lata Gupta, Manoj Tyagi, Rohtash Bidhuri, Mohan Goyal and Prashant Sharma, Senior Councilors Pravesh Wahi, Sandeep Kapoor, Jai Bhagwan Yadav, Smt. Shikha Rai, Smt. Ritu Goyal, Smt. Anju Aman, Smt.. Neeta Visht, Veer Singh Pawar etc. joined the demonstration.

Shri Virendra Sachdeva while addressing the protest said that BJP has been saying from the beginning that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is behind the liquor scam and today after his being named in the charge sheet by ED this has been confirmed. He said that the accused arrested by the ED in the liquor scams have confessed that they sat at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s house where liquor policies were decided and commission was also decided and the mastermind behind all these was The Deputy Chief Minister is Manish Sisodia.

Shri Virendra Sachdeva said that if CM Arvind Kejriwal has any morality left then should resign and follow the foot steps of Shri Madan Lal Khurana ji who immediately resigned after his name popped up in a scam which later proved wrong.

He said that Kejriwal like a termite is licking the development of Delhi since 2015. The time has come for BJP workers to expose Kejriwal’s corruption in every gali.

Shri Virendra Sachdeva said that all the accused in the liquor scam are going to jail one by one and now the day is not far when Delhi’s Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister will also be inside the jail.

He said that the people of Delhi will not forgive Kejriwal who looted Delhi under the liquor scam and will teach a lesson in the coming 2024 Lok Sabha and 2025 assembly elections.

Leader of Opposition Shri Ramveer Singh Bidhuri said that BJP has been saying from the beginning that the liquor scam has the patronage of Chief Minister Kejriwal and today the E.D. charge sheet has corroborated our allegation.

He said that Delhi was first looted by invaders like Mohammed Ghori, Mahmood Ghazni, Taimur, the British and thereafter by Congress governments. Today Arvind Kejriwal is also looting Delhi. Development has come to a standstill and corruption is rampant everywhere.

Shri Bidhuri said that I had taken a pledge in the Vidhansabha that I will expose Kejriwal government’s role in the liquor scam in front of the public or else I will resign. Today I am happy that after the struggle of BJP the Kejriwal government was forced to withdraw its new liquor policy which was full of scams. Now not only his own name has come out in ED Chargesheet but names of his many generals has already come to the fore.

He said that the government itself accepted in the Vidhansabha that there was a loss of revenue due to the new liquor policy, for which the corrupt commission policy of the Kejriwal government is responsible.

Shri Kuljit Singh Chahal said that the people of Delhi are not able to understand whether there is a scam in the Delhi government today or whether the Delhi government itself is a scam. He said that our workers will no longer sit peacefully and will expose the corruption of the Kejriwal government in every street.
