Kharge is present time DURYODHAN — Congress Must Face the Consequences!
When the time of reckoning arrives, wisdom gives way to arrogance and all limits of propriety are forgotten. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s alleged disrespectful remarks about the late father of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi reflect a deeply troubling decline in political discourse.
Disagree with political policies, challenge decisions, and hold the government accountable—but insulting the deceased family members of a political opponent is neither political courage nor democratic conduct. Congress, unable to effectively counter Prime Minister Modi’s policies, appears to have resorted to personal attacks.
In the Mahabharata, Duryodhana’s arrogance and disregard for dignity became defining elements of his downfall. Political leaders must remember that when the dignity of public discourse is sacrificed, public trust is also put at risk.
Mr. Kharge, abusive language is not a political weapon; it reflects a failure to uphold the dignity of public life. Congress’s words and conduct raise serious questions about its political direction. The people will deliver their verdict through the democratic process.
