CM Yogi assures full medical aid for serious illnesses at Janata Darshan

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addresses concerns of 200 people at Janata Darshan
CM directs officials to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution of the issues raised
Gorakhpur, June 18
During his visit to Gorakhpur on Wednesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a Janata Darshan at Gorakhnath Temple, where he assured full government support for treatment of serious illnesses. He directed officials to promptly process cost estimates for patients without Ayushman cards and ensure swift aid through the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund. He emphasized that the government would ensure treatment at the best available hospitals.
Due to the ongoing monsoon, the Janata Darshan was held at the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan auditorium within the Gorakhnath temple complex. CM Yogi met around 200 people, patiently heard their grievances, and handed over their applications to officials with clear instructions for timely resolution. Reassuring the public, he said no genuine concern would go unaddressed and directed officials to act with empathy, seriousness, and accountability to prevent any hardship due to administrative lapses.
Highlighting the need for a compassionate approach, the Chief Minister said that every victim must be treated with sensitivity, their issues resolved effectively, and they should leave with a sense of satisfaction.
Taking a firm stand against unlawful activities, CM Yogi directed strict legal action against land encroachers and those involved in bullying or intimidation. For family disputes, he stressed the importance of resolving issues through dialogue and mutual understanding.
As in previous Janata Darshan sessions, many people sought help for treatment of serious illnesses. CM Yogi inquired about their Ayushman Bharat cards and assured that lack of funds would not delay care, with support to be extended through the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund. Offering reassurance to a woman, he said, “Get an estimate from the doctor—the government will ensure you receive financial aid for treatment.”
The Chief Minister also directed officials to ensure that every eligible person is issued an Ayushman card without delay.
